Jacqueline Fernandes Loves Kottu Roti In Colombo, Sri Lanka

During this episode of Power Hour with Jacqueline Fernandes, Kamiya Jani asked the actress to choose between street food in Colomba and that in Mumbai. “Uh Oh! Pani Puri!” said Jacqueline, in a tricky position on having to choose between the two cities. “You can’t take pani puri away from me! I really like pani puri,” she says with a big smile, almost salivating while thinking about it.

That’s when Kamiya had to ask how many pani puris can she really eat in one go. “I only stop because I feel people are looking at me. Every single time I eat pani puri, I feel I can do more than that place of six. I would say 12.” After hearing about the Kick actress raving about pani puri, Kamiya asked her about her home city, Colombo’s street food. After all, there’s no one better than Jacqueline Fernandes to recommend Sri Lankan street food.

It’s like Sri Lankan pasta! It’s really fun to visit a Kottu Roti store, and wait in your car for a plate of hot Kottu Roti.”
