Karan Aujla Talks About His Tauba Tauba Shoot With Vicky Kaushal

While gorging on Misal Pav, Karan Aujla recollected Vicky Kaushal raving about the street food dish. The actor strongly recommended the Punjabi sensation give it a try. We were honoured to have Karan Aujla trying Misal Pav for the very first time on Curly Tales with Kamiya Jani, wondered if he’d do the Tauba Tauba hookstep in his appreciation for the dish.

“Hopefully I know the hookstep,” laughed the singer. That’s when he grabbed on the opportunity to narrate a funny tales from the Tauba Tauba shoot. Karan remembered walking into the set and watching choreographer Bosco Martis and his team working on the project. Vicky Kaushal was already shooting for the song and busting those killer moves.

The Singer Refused To Dance But Agreed To Groove A bit

At that point in time, Karan Aujla looked at his manager and said, “Bro, please tell me they are not going to make me do this.” He adds, “I told him, I’m not doing this bro.” But the team told Karan Aujla, “Halka sa hook step karenge.” (Let’s do a little bit of the hookstep) The choreographers tried to teach the Tauba Tauba hookstep to Karan Aujla. But they finally gave up. The Punjabi sensation chuckled that he only agreed to move his hands a bit in style.

Kamiya later prodded him about his interest in dance. To this, he flatly refused about having any interest in dancing. While his team keeps persuading him to try dancing, Karan feels he looks funny when he dances. While no one has watched him dance to declare this, the singer has watched himself in front of the mirror and come to the conclusion. But the singer did reveal he can do a bit of Bhangra. Now that’s good enough for a Punjabi, right?
