For the Tere Gully Mein episode, we met social media sensation Meethika Dwivedi, who took us to different parts of Lucknow. The content creator took us to experience street foods from some of the best places in the city and also to shop for beautiful chikankari suits. During our time with her, we had a lovely conversation where she opened up about when she signed her first-ever brand deal. Scroll down to know more details.
Meethika Dwivedi On Signing First Brand Deal
While sipping on thandai, Meethika Dwivedi revealed that when she started her journey as a content creator, her relatives used to say, “Beta ese matt baate karo, acha nahi lagta hai ladkiya ese baat karti hai” (Don’t talk like that, it doesn’t sound good when girls speak like this). Her chachu used to support her, but also jokingly taunted her that the content creation would not be a flourishing career.
As the conversation moved forward, we asked her when she signed her first brand deal and how she showed everyone that she could earn money with content creation. To which she replied, “Meri pehli brand deal jo thi woh thi mere 25k hue the. Usme hume free mein cake mila tha or unhone ₹1500 diye the toh woh meri pehle brand deal thi.” (My first brand deal happened when I got 25k followers. We got a free cake, and they paid me ₹1,500. That was my very first brand deal).
After that, she worked with Amazon, and then she met actor Arbaaz Khan, who was visiting Lucknow at that time. She mentioned that Arbaaz Khan himself messaged her to meet him, so she took her principal to show her progress. After that, everyone started believing in her, but still she has some relatives in mind about whom she said, “Unse toh mera khoon ke hi dushmani hai.”

Lucknow Pandit Raja Thandai
When in Lucknow, a foodie would never miss out on the special thandai at Pandit Raja Thandai. For decades, this thandi place has been one of the go-to places of Lucknow people, especially in summer. Their special thandai prepared with gulaab, kesar, badam, and secret masala feels refreshing in each sip.
With Meethika Dwivedi, we enjoyed a glass of thandai at Pandit Raja Thandai. This place was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru, and it’s still one of the famous places in Lucknow. We definitely had a great time in Lucknow, and especially talking to Meethika.
