On this exciting episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani met the ever-smiling singer-actor Shehnaaz Gill at her Mumbai home. Just like every Sunday Brunch episode, this one was filled with lip-smacking desi food, real talk, laughter, emotions, and heart-to-heart conversations. Keep reading to know what all went down in this episode!

Shehnaaz Gill Gives A Home Tour

This Sunday Brunch episode began with Shehnaaz Gill welcoming the Curly Tales team to her beautiful, cosy home in Mumbai. Looking around, we asked her if she stays alone. To this, Shehnaaz replied, “Main akele reh hee nahi sakti hu. (I can not live alone).” She added that she always needs someone by her side. She then gave us a tour of her lovely home, showing us her thoughtfully designed corners. The space is minimalistic yet warm, with clean aesthetics.

Since Shehnaaz has now carved out her own space in the industry and owns this beautiful Mumbai home, we asked what plans she had when she first came to the city, considering she’s originally from Punjab. She said she had no plans and still doesn’t. Shehnaaz believes in just going with the flow and living life without any agendas. The actor-singer, who began her journey as a Bigg Boss contestant, is now a household name with a huge fan base. Her positive outlook on life is truly refreshing.

Fun, Friendship And Honest Conversations

Of course, no Sunday Brunch episode is complete without good food! For this episode, Shehnaaz Gill treated the Curly Tales team to a hearty spread of Mutton Biryani, Saag and Makki ki Roti, and a unique mix of ‘paneer and daal’, a combination we had never heard of before! And yes, it looked delicious, too!

Moving ahead, fashion designer and stylist Ken Ferns joined the episode and shared how he first met Shehnaaz Gill. The two not only share a strong professional bond but are also close friends. We then talked about Shehnaaz’s food choices and her thoughts on marriage. Shehnaaz Gill also opened up about taking therapy to manage her anger issues, adding that everyone should try therapy at least once in their lives. The conversation naturally flowed into a fun game of ‘Never Have I Ever.’ Her answers were honest, witty, and quite surprising!

Before wrapping up, we asked her take on astrology and ended the episode with a playful game of ‘Hangout, Date, or Ditch’, followed by a dance-off— a perfect ending to a wholesome Sunday Brunch episode!
