In the latest Sunday Brunch episode, Kamiya Jani asked Shri Aniruddhacharya Ji how he became known as “Pookie Baba.” In response, he asked her what it meant. Kamiya explained that “Pookie” means cute, so it refers to him as a cute baba. He then shared that his devotees actually gave him this affectionate name.
Explaining further, he said doctors first rub cotton on the skin before giving an injection to reduce pain. Similarly, he believes in not jumping directly into serious topics. Instead, he first makes people laugh and then explains important life lessons. People call him “Pookie Baba” because he teaches in a light-hearted way while still sharing meaningful thoughts.

What Does Pookie Baba Eat In A Day?
Moving ahead with the conversation and curious about his routine, Kamiya asked about his diet and what keeps him active. Responding to this question, Shri Aniruddhacharya Ji shared that he eats just one proper meal a day. In the morning, he eats fruits, and around 12–1 PM, he enjoys a simple meal. In the evening, he drinks a glass of milk and keeps his diet very simple.
He also spoke about his childhood, recalling how he once loved jalebi but couldn’t afford it back then. Later, even when he could, the craving faded. He added that he has never eaten momo, saying he prefers healthy food and avoids anything that may harm the body.
