Anant Chaturdashi 2026 Date And Shubh Muhurat

The main Ganpati Visarjan for 2026 will take place on September 25, 2026, on the auspicious day of Anant Chaturdashi. While the final immersion of Lord Ganesha happens on the 10th day, many families also choose different days based on their family traditions. Some families keep Lord Ganesha for 1.5 days, some for 3 days, some for 5, and even 7. Many pandals perform the Ganpati Visarjan on the 10th day or Anant Chaturdashi.

 According to News18, here are the correct timings for Anant Chaturdashi and Puja Muhurat.

• Chaturdashi Tithi will begin at 11:18 pm on September 24 and will end at 11:06 pm on September 25.
• On Anant Chaturdashi, devotees worship the Anant form of Lord Vishnu. The timings for Puja will last for 16 hours and 55 minutes. Puja Muhurat will begin at 6:11 am and will end at 11:06 pm.

Ganpati Visarjan Shubh Muhurat

According to News18, this year Anant Chaturdashi will also coincide with Ravi Yoga, which is considered auspicious. It will begin at 6:11 am and end at 11:22 am on September 25, 2026. This is considered the best time to perform all religious and auspicious pujas.

Now, let’s talk about Ganesh Visarjan 2026 Shubh Muhurat. During Ganpati Visarjan, devotees bid farewell to Lord Ganesha, offer prayers and request him to return again the following year before immersing the idol in water. Devotees can immerse the Lord Ganesha idols during these auspicious periods:

• During morning: 6:11 am to 10:42 am
• During afternoon: 12:13 pm to 1:43 pm
• During evening: 4:44 pm to 6:14 pm
• During night: 9:14 pm to 10:43 pm
• Late night: 12:13 am to 4:42 am (September 26)
