Fabricated In Delhi, Assembled In Canada

Inaugurated with flower petals, the statue is inspired by the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. As per a report by HT, the idol, fabricated in Delhi, is made of fibreglass with a steel superstructure. However, it was assembled by local craftsmen in Canada. Moreover, it is expected to last a century and can withstand winds of up to 200 km/hr!

Reportedly, Acharya Surinder Sharma Shastri, founder of the Hindu Heritage Centre in Canada, called the statue “a spiritual gift to the community”. He further added that the installation of this murti is not just a moment of pride, but also a reminder that righteousness must always be the guiding factor in our lives. The project began four years ago. An Indo-Canadian business leader made it possible with his generous donation.
