Why Cab Driver Left His IT Job?
Founder & CEO Akash Gupta (@kaashseakash) shared a video online featuring a cab driver. During the ride, Akash struck up a conversation with the driver and asked him about his monthly earnings. In response, the cab driver revealed that he now earns between ₹80,000 and ₹90,000 a month.
Speaking about his journey, the driver shared that he worked in the IT sector for 19 years and earned ₹40,000 per month. Despite having a stable job, he decided to quit. When asked why, he replied, “Freedom nahi tha.” The cab driver also revealed that he helped his wife open a salon before leaving his job. Talking about the freedom he enjoys now, he said that he can even go home whenever he wants.
