Recently, a bus driver was caught watching Bigg Boss Kannada on his phone on a late-night journey from Mumbai to Hyderabad. The video went viral, drawing concern and anger from Netizens.

Nagesh Mane took to his Instagram handle to share a concerning video. The man was travelling on a VRL Travels bus from Mumbai to Hyderabad. Seated on the front seat, during the late-night journey, he noticed something unusual. On the dashboard of the bus, near the steering wheel, a phone was placed upright. Bigg Boss was playing on the phone, and the driver was seen multi-tasking — driving the bus at 80 km/h while catching the show.

It was 2:50 am when the passenger filmed this reckless act on the part of the driver. As he sped along the highway, the driver streamed the popular TV show. Nagesh was shocked by this and filmed the act to alert authorities. The video was testimonial to his complaint, and he tagged VRL Travels in the post.

Company Apologises And Investigates Matter

Alarmed by this recklessness, Vijayanand Travels (VRL Travels) released an official statement. The company apologised for the incident that took place on October 27 on the Mumbai-Hyderabad route. They assured that passenger safety was their top priority and they would take such matters into utmost seriousness.

But Netizens were enraged and alarmed after watching this viral video. One person commented, “Please take serious action regarding this negligence. We trust your services and expect better responsibility.” Another said, “Bro literally watching BIGG BOSS.” A commenter said, “This is public danger. Someone who follows all safety rules on the road will be in danger thanks to such irresponsible drivers of yours.”
