Connaught Place also happens to be home to three of the most famous and important religious places in the city. Firstly, there is the biggest Hanuman Temple in the city which is believed to be one of the four ancient temples from the time of the Mahabharata. The other place that one must visit in CP is the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, an oasis of peace and calm in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Connaught Place. Another architectural marvel in Connaught Place is the Sacred Heart Cathedral Church, one of the biggest churches in Delhi.

5. Go Back To One Of The City’s Best-Kept Vintage Theatres

Long before all the fancy multiplexes, there used to be single-screen theatres. In CP, you can still catch a glimpse of that charm at Odeon and Rivoli theatres. Walking into these halls feels like time travel. The vintage architecture, the old-style seats, and the nostalgic vibe all add to the magic of watching a film the way people did decades ago. If you’re someone who loves retro experiences, watching a movie here is a must.

On the other side, the Jantar Mantar takes you back to the scientific brilliance of the 18th century. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, it has massive instruments that were once used to study stars and planets.

8. Try Something Fiery At Odeon Gupta Paan Palace

10. Eat Your Way Through CP’s Food Joints

The one thing for which CP is truly famous is food.
