A chance meeting on a flight reminded Mira Rajput of a health tip worth sharing. The entrepreneur, who is married to actor Shahid Kapoor, recently revealed that a simple soup shared by Smriti Irani helped her manage anaemia after she had struggled with the condition for years. The recipe, which was earlier shared by Smriti on Curly Tales, is made with everyday ingredients and is easy to prepare. Scroll on to know more.

Smriti Irani’s Drumstick-Masoor Soup That Helped Mira Rajput

Mira Rajput met Smriti Irani on a flight and, during their conversation, was reminded of a recipe the former actor and politician had shared earlier. The recipe was originally shared by Smriti during an interaction with Curly Tales, where she spoke about a simple drumstick and masoor dal soup as an iron-rich option, particularly for vegetarians.

Sharing the recipe with her followers, Mira said she decided to try the soup herself because of her own long-standing struggle with anaemia. She claimed that after having it regularly for three months, she noticed a difference in her blood reports.

What appealed to her was how uncomplicated the recipe was. It uses ingredients that are commonly found in an Indian kitchen and does not require an elaborate diet plan or any specialised ingredients.

Mira Rajput said she had around half a cup of the soup every day and felt the recipe was worth passing on, especially because anaemia affects many women in India.

Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, also commented on the post and wrote, “Soooo glad you watched the video and it added value to your life. Thanks for sharing :)”
