Vincenzo Capuano Makes India Debut With First Outlet In Mumbai
Award-winning third-generation pizzaiolo Vincenzo Capuano has brought his globally acclaimed contemporary Neapolitan pizzas to Mumbai with the launch of his first India outpost. The 2022 World Pizza Champion is known for his signature 30-hour fermented Nuvola dough and unique tableside pizza-cutting ritual using golden scissors.
Raised in his grandfather’s pizzeria in Naples’ Scampia neighbourhood, Capuano learnt the art of pizza-making from his grandfather and father, both respected names in the city’s rich culinary tradition.
Today, his artisan pizza chain has expanded to over 50 locations across Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Kosovo, Singapore and Hong Kong, earning a place among the 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains in both 2024 and 2025. And now, Mumbai gets its first taste of his celebrated Neapolitan creations.

An India-First Menu, Built on a Neapolitan Foundation
If you’re a pizza lover, Vincenzo Capuano’s signature Cloud Pizza is the star attraction. Made with a 30-hour Biga-fermented Nuvola dough using Caputo flour from Naples, it delivers an airy, light crust with the signature leopard-spotted finish. Premium ingredients, including San Marzano tomatoes and Italian extra virgin olive oil, are imported from Italy, while fresh dairy and proteins are sourced locally to maintain quality.
Adding to the experience is the restaurant’s signature tableside ritual—each pizza is served with golden scissors, specially designed to cut the crust without crushing its airy texture.
The menu blends authentic Neapolitan classics with flavours perfect for Indian diners. Expect favourites like Diavola alla Nonno Enzo, Margherita con Bufala, Napolitudine, and Tetti Illuminati, alongside India-exclusive creations such as the Chicken Tikka Pizza, Paneer Chimichurri Pizza, Pesto Basilico Pizza, and Tartufo Pizza.
The restaurant also offers Jain-friendly pizzas made with a specially developed no-root San Marzano tomato sauce. And since no meal is complete without some dessert, you can choose from desserts like Tiramisu, Biscoff Cheesecake, Crème Brûlée, and Mousse al Cioccolato!
