Mango season is finally here, and just like us, you’re probably enjoying it in like aam ras, with ice cream, and more. But there are still many unique and mouthwatering mango dishes to explore. Recently, we came across one such must-try recipe, Mango Rasayana. Here’s a step-by-step guide to make it. Read on!
What Is Mango Rasayana?
Sharing it on her social media, Dr Prarthana Bhat (@handfulofflour) gave us a wholesome mango moment with her Mango Rasayana recipe. She mentioned picking mangoes straight from her neighbour’s tree and spoke about how in India, it’s less about walls and more about sharing food and conversations. She even compared it to London, saying people are nice there too, but there’s a certain distance.
Using those freshly plucked mangoes, she made Mango Rasayana, and honestly, it looks like comfort in a bowl. It’s a coconut milk-based dish made with ripe mangoes, giving it a naturally sweet and refreshing taste. You can enjoy this sweet dish with idlis, kadabu, or even puris. On the other hand, you can also just chill it and enjoy it as a dessert.
