Joined by their three-year-old son, Ruhaan, he baked the cake from scratch and took fans along for the entire process in his latest vlog. The video also marked a special milestone for Shoaib as he celebrated six years of his YouTube journey.
Shoaib baked a wholesome date cake made with seedless dates, milk, eggs, baking powder, baking soda, olive oil, and sugar. He first soaked the dates in warm milk, blended them into a smooth paste, mixed in the wet and dry ingredients, and baked the batter until soft and moist. It has to be mentioned that the birthday girl had to come in a few times to help the novice baker in the entire process, but it was simply adorable!
Calls His Wife A ‘Fighter’
While Shoaib is yet to reveal the final cake in his YouTube vlog, his birthday post on Instagram gave fans a glimpse of the finished creation. But more than the cake, it was his heartfelt birthday note that won everyone over. Calling Dipika a “fighter,” Shoaib prayed for her long, healthy life and added that as for her happiness, that was something he will take care of!
Dipika Kakar has been bravely battling stage 2 liver cancer over the past few months. According to Moneycontrol, in June, she underwent surgery to remove the cancer, but later shared that doctors had found two additional cysts during her recovery, following which she was advised to begin immunotherapy.
