If your North Coast beach bag was already colour-coordinated, you’re about to have a very good summer in Egypt. Missoni, the zigzag house, has opened its first-ever Resort Club in Egypt, and it’s also the brand’s debut on the African continent. And it’s happening at Villa Coconut Hotel. This one ought to grab some travellers’ attention soon!
Missoni’s First Resort Club In Africa Just Opened On Egypt’s North Coast
The takeover is happening at Villa Coconut Hotel. It’s tucked inside LMD’s Zoya Ghazala Bay, one of the North Coast’s flagship destinations and, frankly, already a name that gets thrown around a lot in Gulf group chats every June.
Missoni has redone the hotel and its beachfront in the label’s signature Resort Club palette. Expect emerald green, lime, turquoise sea tones and a hit of bright yellow, because minimalism was never really the brief here.
Every essential beach item you’d usually ignore has been redesigned. From sunbeds and umbrellas to towels, cushions and the works, all wrapped in Missoni’s iconic zigzag print.
Why This Isn’t Missoni’s First Rodeo (But Still A Big Deal)
Missoni’s Resort Club concept already exists in Ibiza, Mykonos, Bali, Capri, Sicily and the Maldives. So, Egypt joining that list puts the North Coast in genuinely elite company. And it’s not just a vibe play. Missoni posted €130 million in revenue for 2025, up 5%, and has specifically flagged resort mini-boutiques as a growth area. Translation: this isn’t a one-summer pop-up; it’s a strategy.

Should You Actually Go?
