The Balvenie Fifty-First Edition In India
The Balvenie Fifty–First Edition in India is exclusively available at G Town Wines, Golf Course Road, Gurugram. As per The Hindu, this edition has 125 bottles, and only one is available in India. The unique single cask drink, filled in 1973 and aged in a European oak refill butt, was specially handpicked by Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie. It has matured for over five decades. The drink offers layered tannins and ripe berries with subtle hints of rich leather on the nose. Meanwhile, the palate reveals a decadent blend of toffee sweetness, citrus brightness, and deep oaky spice.
Adding to its element, the packaging is designed by a bespoke craft workshop in Cumbria known as Croglin. It features over 100 individual elements with a seven-layer wooden helix structure and a 14-carat gold-plated brass display.
How Is Balvenie Thirty And Balvenie Twenty-Five Prepared?
Prepared in European oak casks, Balvenie Thirty is matured for decades. It offers a silky sweetness with notes of rich honey, mellow oak, and a hint of candied orange peel. The Balvenie Twenty-Five strikes a perfect balance between European oak casks and traditional American casks. It was crafted by Malt Master David C. It offers hints of old vanilla oak, crystallised ginger, and sweet runny honey.
