People think Bengaluru’s nightlife is all about pubs and clubs. But what if there are completely different sides of the city that come alive after dark? Ruhee Dosani came to Bengaluru with the same perception, until the city’s own creator Ismail from Xplore The Earth challenged her to experience Bengaluru’s nightlife beyond the obvious. And over the course of one night, Ruhee discovered four very different sides of Bengaluru. In Koramangala, she discovered why this part of the city belongs to the dreamers. Bengaluru’s startup culture spills into its cafés, where founders, creators and young professionals can be found working on ideas even as the city winds down. But here, Ruhee swapped the laptop for a paintbrush and experienced a café where food, conversations and creativity came together. Then came Church Street, Bengaluru’s cultural soul. A street where bookstores are still buzzing late in the evening, people come together over books and conversations, and the city’s old-school charm continues to thrive alongside its modern energy. In Indiranagar, Ruhee experienced Bengaluru in celebration mode, where good food, music and buzzing streets turn an ordinary night into a night out. And finally, when the midnight cravings kicked in, VV Puram showed her the great equalizer: food. At one bustling food street, age, profession and background didn’t matter.
