This Is The One Tip Upasana Konidela Got From Her Mother-In-Law After Marriage

A fiery entrepreneur, doting wife, passionate family recipe custodian, a loving mother and a dutiful daughter-in-law: Upasana Konidela has my feathers in her hat, and she wears them with pride. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, sat down with Upasana Konidela in her stunning Hyderabad home for a memorable chat and an equally memorable home-cooked meal. During the Sunday Brunch, Upasana revealed the one valuable tip she received from her mother-in-law, Surekha Konidela, after her marriage to actor Ram Charan.

Upasana Konidela Reminiscences Her Wedding Day

While lounging and chatting with Upasana Konidela, Kamiya Jani asked the entrepreneur to take her down memory lane with old photographs. Upasana sportingly glanced at each photo and narrated a tale that tugged her heartstrings. One of which was a photo of her wedding day with husband Ram Charan, lovingly tying the mangalsutra around her neck.

The Vice Chairperson of Apollo Hospitals CSR Group reminisced about the special day. She revealed having a strong friendship with Ram Charan before their marriage. With two worlds coming together, Upasana confessed to being unaware of the world of films. She credits her mother-in-law, Athamma, Surekha Konidela, for lovingly coaching her after her marriage to Ram Charan.

She Is Grateful To Her Mother-In-Law’s Marriage Tip

Upasana told Kamiya that her mother-in-law imparted the valuable tip — Seeing is believing. Don’t believe everything everybody says. Her Athamma, who is the wife of actor Chiranjeevi, taught her how to deal with an actor. This helped her understand Ram Charan’s professional commitments and temperaments better. Whenever she wanted to discuss her life as the wife of an actor, Upasana realised her mother couldn’t help her. After all, this world was new to her as well.

While Upasana and Ram hailed from the same city and had mutual friends, when they got married, it was like two worlds coming together. The entrepreneur is deeply grateful to her mother-in-law for easing her into the film family. And it’s heartwarming to see that the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law are proud co-founders of Athamma’s Kitchen, a ready-to-cook food brand.
