From Zakir Khan To Ravi Gupta, Kullu Described His Fellow Comedians In One Word Each!

During a Tere Gully Mein episode, stand-up comedian Aaditya Kulshreshtha, better known as Kullu, took our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani on a tour around Bhopal. We also played a rapid-fire game with him and asked him to describe his fellow comedians in one word, and here’s how it went down.

Kullu Describes Fellow Comedians In One Word!

After noshing on some delicious Bhopali food, we played a game of rapid fire with Kullu. We asked him to tell the first thought that comes to his mind when we say the name of some of the most famous stand-up comedians in India, in a word, and started with Zakir Khan. He promptly replied with, “Bade bhai.”

Kenny Sebastian, he said, was cute. Next on the list was Vir Das, and he rightly described him as legendary. When talking about Anubhav Singh Bassi, the first thing that comes to Kullu’s mind is again, ‘bade bhai.’ As for Samay Raina, he feels he is a good friend.

When asked about Atul Khatri, he jokingly called him ‘uncle’. For Kullu, Tanmay Bhatt and Rohan Joshi are his mentors, while Ravi Gupta is again a ‘big brother’. The first thought that comes to his mind about Sumukhi Suresh is ‘cute’.

A Big No To Controversies!

We asked Kullu about the traits that make him a true Bhopali, and he pointed to his ability to maintain friendships wholeheartedly. When asked if his friends in Mumbai are as supportive as those in Bhopal, he replied, “Mumbai mein bhi acche log hain, kyun burai karu.” He added with a smile that he prefers to avoid controversies, joking that comedians these days are already heading to jail, so it’s better to stay calm before saying anything.
