Meethika Dwivedi’s Authentic Style On Social Media
In Lucknow, we spent a memorable day with the content creator Meethika Dwivedi. She is known for the distinctive tone and candour that she proudly uses in her videos. Regarding this, we asked her, “Your way of speaking feels very raw and very desi. Have you ever thought that if you want to create content or be on social media, you should speak in English or act in a certain way, or did you feel like just staying as you are?”
She replied, “Yaar yeh insan tab sochta hai jab usko kuch banna ho. Hume apne school ke bacho mein cool banna tha ki dekho mere panch hazaar follower hai, yeh sab shuru kiya tha. Maine 10th ke board diye jab lockdown laga toh humne start kar diya ese randomly. Or starting mein hi bohot achi reach mil gayi, Lucknow ki language ki wajah se. Sab aise the ki ‘yeh toh aap aap karke baat kar rahi hai.’”

Devouring Azhar Bhai Ka Pan
Between all the talks, we didn’t forget we were in the city that is known for its culinary greatness! So, after drinking thandai at the famous Pandit Raja shop, we went to eat pan at Azhar Bhai Ka Paan. This shop is located in a narrow alley. We also discussed that people eat fire paan to feel a kick. The shop offers 14 varieties of pan, and the owner also claimed that if a person is feeling any body pain, they can come to see his shop to eat the paan, and they’ll feel all better! We tried their Begam Pasanad Paan, and it was different, albeit delicious!
