After ending his hunger strike in Delhi, Sonam Wangchuk travelled to Kashmir on the Vande Bharat train. He recently took to his X handle to share a video, where he said that travelling by train has always been his favourite. He also revealed that it was his first time travelling on the Delhi–Srinagar Vande Bharat.
During the journey, Wangchuk was especially excited to see the iconic Chenab Rail Bridge, which became the highlight of his trip. He described the experience as beautiful and said that he felt proud of Indian Railways. Speaking about his journey, he also shared that he would stay in Kashmir for a day before leaving for Ladakh.

This Delhi-Srinagar Vande Bharat Train completed journey in 13 hours. During th journey it offers stunning views of mountains, valleys, and tunnels. One of its biggest highlights is crossing the iconic Chenab Rail Bridge. It is the world’s highest railway arch bridge and one of India’s greatest engineering achievements.
