Good news for travellers! SpiceJet, one of India’s most affordable airlines, has announced daily non-stop flights to Ayodhya from Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad ahead of the Diwali festival. These direct flights will start on October 8, 2025. Here’s everything you need to know.
SpiceJet Announces Daily Non-Stop Flights To Ayodhya This Diwali
From October 8, 2025, travellers from Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad can book direct non-stop flights to Ayodhya. As per a report by Times Now News, these special flights will begin in a phased manner, making it easier for devotees to visit the revered Ram Mandir during Diwali.
Announced officially by SpiceJet on October 6, the move is expected to delight devotees, making it easier for them to visit and pay their respects at the famous temple. Moreover, the airline is considering launching direct flights to Ayodhya from Mumbai during the Diwali season as well. They shared the news on X, writing: “You can now fly to Ayodhya daily from Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. Mumbai follows next, and more destinations and connections are on the way.”

Festive Travel Made Easy And Affordable
According to the same report, these Diwali special non-stop direct flights also aim to strengthen SpiceJet’s domestic network. The airline wants to make festive travel affordable and convenient for thousands of travellers planning to visit Ayodhya this month to celebrate Diwali.
Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer at SpiceJet, shared with Times Now that there could be no better occasion than Diwali to visit Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, and the team is delighted to make travel to the holy city easier for devotees. He further added that these daily flights from key metros will ensure smooth access to Ayodhya during Diwali.
You would also like to know that just last week, Ayodhya’s Ramlila set a world record, drawing 62 crore viewers across 50 countries, making it the largest and grandest broadcast in the world. Interestingly, over 250 artists from Delhi and Mumbai were part of the performances.
