Video Shows Palace On Wheels’ Luxury Bathrooms

An Instagram video shared by Bhawani Singh Rao (bhawani_singh_rao8), director of sales at the heritage train, offers a look inside one of its Super Deluxe cabins, including a bathroom that resembles those found in upscale hotels. The bathroom features understated grey interiors, tiled flooring, mirrors and soft lighting. Towels and a hair dryer are among the amenities provided, adding to the cabin’s hotel-like comforts.

The video also offers a view of the rest of the cabin, which features wooden furniture, including a chair and a small desk. A large bed sits beside the window, while the ceiling is decorated with intricate traditional patterns. Another video shared by Rao highlights the Presidential Suite, which takes the luxury experience a step further. The suite offers an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower, along with Vietnamese marble flooring that lends the space an elegant finish.

Inside the cabin, travellers can find a king-size bed, a private lounge area and an LED television for entertainment. The ceiling features handcrafted Thikri work, a traditional decorative art form that uses pieces of mirror arranged in intricate patterns.
