Safed Parindey Navratri Event In Ahmedabad
Safed Parindey event in Ahmedabad is unique in its own way. Unlike all other garba events, at this one, the garba enthusiasts are not allowed to wear bright colours. Instead, they follow a particular dress code, as you can guess from the name, white. All the boys and girls who attend are asked to wear white. While most pair it with another colour, some tend to follow the all-white theme. However, what caught everyone’s attention this year was not the dress code but the entry fee for this event. The event took place on September 26 and 27 and shocked the netizens with its steep entry fee–₹15,000. Although, it is to be noted that the entry fee included food, Starbucks coffee, and even a foot massage.
The all-white Navratri event theme was conceptualised in 2022 by Sheri Affair. In 2022, they hosted the event under the name–Yeh Wala Safed, and in 2023, continued with a new name, Safed Ishq. Last year, they changed the name to Safed Parindey, which remained the same this year as well. Interestingly, many Amdavadis were willing to attend this event, with many arriving from other cities to experience its grandeur.
At this event, people did Mandli Garba, where many of them just follow one step till morning. This event also created a headline for another reason—while many people paid the hefty price to attend, others managed to get in for free. This contrast sparked quite a debate among Navratri enthusiasts, which added more hype to Safed Parindey this year.

Other Navratri Events To Attend In Ahmedabad
Apart from Safed Parindey, if you want to attend other Navratri events in Ahmedabad, no worries—there are plenty of them. Some of the best events are Garbi, Mandli, Sheri Circle, Maavdee, Mandapam, and Chowk Na Garba. In Ahmedabad, you can easily find garba events priced from ₹250 to over ₹4,000. The highest pass price for a Navratri event in Ahmedabad so far was for Safed Parindey.
