Longest Metro Corridor Coming Soon In Bengaluru
Bengaluru getting its longest metro corridor has been the talk of the town for many months, but it might soon become a reality. According to a report by News18, a feasibility study has been prepared by Introsoft Solutions Pvt Ltd for Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited and will be submitted to the state government for approval. After that, a Detailed Project Report will be prepared.
This 73 km-long metro corridor is the longest ever planned for the city. The line will run from Kalena Agrahara in the south to Kadugodi Tree Park in the east. But let us tell you about the most important thing that has got many people excited! Reportedly, this corridor will get a 5 km spur line that will head straight to the brand new international cricket stadium in Anekal!

Metro Will Take You Directly To A Cricket Match
According to News18, the elevated corridor will pass through fast-growing suburbs including Bannerghatta, Jigani, Attibele, Sarjapur, Dommasandra Circle and Varthur Kodi. The line will easily connect Bengaluru’s southern and eastern tech corridors, making commuting a lot easier.
But the international cricket stadium this metro corridor will connect to has got the town talking. This sports complex in Anekal will house an 80,000-seat cricket stadium along with facilities for 24 sports and a 30,000-seater auditorium. There would be a metro station right next to the stadium. It will make it super easy for people to head straight to a cricket match.
