If you spend enough time on Instagram, you must have seen videos of the daredevil Russian couple who climbed New York‘s Empire State Building for a romantic proposal. Inspired by them, a couple from Bihar tried to do the same. A video circulating on X by, @UrsVinodhDHFM shows the couple trying to climb a transmission tower while onlookers watched the moment.
According to Republic World, their proposal was cut short when the police intervened after some locals reported the stunt. Officers rushed to the spot and persuaded the couple to climb down the tower. They were also warned about the life-threatening risks posed by high-voltage electricity lines. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

People Urged Not To Mimic Social Media Trends
According to Republic World, people in Bihar have been urged not to imitate dangerous social media trends because, honestly, no viral video is worth risking one’s life. Youngsters, who can be gullible to these trends, were also advised to avoid such risky challenges. Netizens were quite shocked to see another couple trying the stunt. Some laughed, while others highlighted how dangerous these stunts can be.
You should know that the Russian couple, Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus, who climbed the 1,454-foot Empire State Building, are now facing multiple charges. This includes burglary, reckless endangerment and criminal trespass.
