On October 3, a horrifying incident took place near a railway track in Purnea. According to a Financial Express report, four young men aged between 18 and 25 died after being hit by the Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat Express in Bihar this morning. The victims were taken to the hospital, with three dying on the way and one passing away upon arrival at GMC Hospital. One man survived with severe injuries. Officials said the group was allegedly making social media reels near the railway track when the train struck them.

Krishna Kumar Rishi, a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, called the incident “very tragic.” In talks with IANS India, he mentioned that the youngsters had come to town for work related to makhana and to visit a fair when the mishap occurred. Compensation To Affected Families

The bodies of the victims have been sent for postmortem as part of the ongoing investigation. Police officials working on this case are trying to determine the exact cause of the incident. According to some reports, the incident took place because the overbridges and underpasses project in Bihar was not completed. A compensation has now been demanded by the concerned authorities.

Though the exact cause of the accident is still unknown, the incident highlights one of the major reasons behind such tragedies. To avoid mishaps, people must remain aware of their surroundings and refrain from putting themselves in danger while shooting reels or videos. Sensitive spots like railway tracks, cliffs, and mountain edges should always be avoided.
