X user Kalpana Shrivastava (@Lawyer_Kalpana) shared a video from Prayagraj Railway Station. In the video, a passenger is seen confronting a stall manager over the sale of “Elvish” water bottles at Prayagraj Junction, Platform 8. The video was posted with the caption, “Why is Railway Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw when will this game finally end?”
As soon as the stall staff handed him the bottle, the passenger noticed that it was not approved by the Railways. When he questioned the stall manager, he was told to file a complaint with the Railways. The staff appeared unconcerned about his questions.

Railways Responds To The Viral Video
The video quickly gained attention on social media, with users questioning how unauthorised products could be sold at a railway station. Railway Seva apologised for the inconvenience faced by the passenger. It also asked the complainant to share their contact details via direct message for follow-up action. The Railways added that the issue could also be formally registered on the RailMadad platform for quicker resolution.
Netizens also reacted to the video. One user wrote, “Same thing happened to me. Prayagraj ke har stall par Elvish ka paani hai. Kehne par kehte hain ye approved hai. Aap complaint kar do, kuch nahi hoga.”
Another user questioned, “Don’t you think railway officials would already know about this matter?”
