Craving Cinema Snacks? PVR INOX May Soon Deliver Buttery Popcorn Through Zomato & Swiggy!

PVR INOX Food

There is something about the snacks we eat and the beverages we enjoy inside a cinema. They just taste much better, right? What if we tell you that you could now enjoy your favourite cinema snacks outside movies and even at home? Apparently, PVR INOX is planning to roll out its in-house food brands in the market. Here’s what we know so far.

PVR INOX Plans To Roll Out Its Food Brands In Markets

Those buttered popcorns and crispy cold drinks from PVR INOX have been our go-to order while watching our favourite movie. Over the years, the company has built a full-fledged food and beverage (F&B) operation that can compete with dedicated food brands. Now, according to MoneyControl, PVR INOX is planning to roll out its in-house food brands and tap into out-of-cinema food sales.

Reportedly, the company is on track to achieve an F&B revenue of over ₹2,000 crore in FY26. This makes food a major part of its growth plan. Promoter Sanjeev Kumar Bijli told MoneyControl that F&B revenues contribute about 30% to PVR INOX’s overall earnings.

You Might Be Able To Buy Cinema Snacks Online

The company is now preparing to take its food brands beyond theatres. Its gourmet hot dog brand, Dogfather, may soon be available in select food courts outside cinemas. In addition to this, PVR INOX plans to sell many of its snacks online. As per a report by MoneyControl, the brand will offer hero products like popcorn, nachos and more via tie-ups with Swiggy and Zomato. This was tested last year, and in 2026, the company is expected to push this initiative further.

Currently, PVR INOX has 10 food brands. These include Dogfather, Frytopia, Crosta and Cine Cafe, among others. CFO Gaurav Sharma shared with MoneyControl that the company has also launched new food concepts and is testing their potential beyond cinemas. If things go as planned, PVR INOX food brands could soon be available in food courts and on delivery apps.
