People travelling from Panipat or Delhi can drive from the corridor at Shamli and reach Kushinagar or Bihar much quicker than they can now. As per a report by News24, officials believe that the drive will take just about 8 hours in some parts, which is great news for commuters and businesses moving goods across the border.

Key Route, Time, Benefits & More

The route will pass through many key spots like Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, and Gorakhpur. It will also cross Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The expressway is expected to boost local industries, jobs, business and tourism across Uttar Pradesh by making it so much simpler to get around.

The Shamli-Gorakhpur expressway will be constructed in a way to maintain speed and safety with four lanes that can be expanded later if required. The expressway will also feature big bridges and flyovers to high standards, and there will be a lot of exits to connect with significant towns along the way, helping vehicles move freight smoothly through the region.
