Recently, Rakul Preet Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Sara Ali Khan travelled to Gujarat to promote their movie, Pati, Patni Aur Woh Do. The cast also visited the famous Gir National Park, a world-renowned destination known as the only natural habitat of endangered Asiatic lions. A video circulating online showed Rakul Preet Singh walking inside the national park.

Many netizens were angered and questioned the authorities over wildlife norms and how she was allowed to step out of the vehicle. The whole incident sparked controversy and made headlines. But recently, officials of Gir National Park came forward to clarify what really happened.

According to the statement issued by the Office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Wildlife Division Sasan-Gir, on X, the video was from outside the entry point of the sanctuary area. It was not from inside the restricted zone. This means that no wildlife rules were violated by Rakul Preet Singh.
