A foreign content creator recently uploaded a video of a harmless prank she played on a staff member of an Indian store in Ireland. She offered to pay for her groceries with Indian currency instead of Euros. Here’s what happened next.
Woman Tries To Pay With Indian Currency In Ireland
Harmless pranks on social media are often entertaining and funny. This is what happened recently when an Instagram user, @hello_accentmade, a foreign content creator, tried to pay for her groceries using Indian currency at a GoMart store in Ireland. At the start of the video, she said, “I am going to the Asian store and try to pay with these rupees here in Ireland. Let’s see how they react.”
She is then seen at the billing counter with her items. She tried to hand over the Indian currency to the woman (most probably Indian) behind the counter, who first looked surprised but then started laughing. The woman behind the counter then asked, “Where did you get these?” while laughing. The clip ended with both of them laughing at the harmless prank.

Internet Reacts To The Prank
The video, which has now gone viral, attracted many comments from Instagram users. One asked, “Did she accept Indian rupees?” to which the creator replied that no, she did not accept, but just laughed. Of course, she couldn’t really accept Indian currency in Ireland.
Another user made a funny comment and wrote, “Indian store must accept Indian Rupee,” while someone else said, “Did you get the balance?” One more user added, “Now you are pure Indian by heart, dear,” pointing to the fact that this creator is often seen making videos about India, which she regularly shares on her Instagram.
