During the festive rush, to ensure a comfortable travel experience for passengers, KSRTC is planning to add more buses in Bengaluru. Between October 17 and 20, the state-run transport service will operate 2,500 special buses from Bengaluru, and return services will operate from October 22 to 26. For the bus tickets, travellers can book tickets either at KSRTC counters or through their official website.

According to Hindustan Times, buses departing from Kempegowda Bus Station will serve popular destinations such as Dharmasthala, Mangaluru, Hubballi, Belagavi, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Hyderabad, Tirupati, and Vijayawada. Buses to Mysuru, Madikeri, and the Kodagu region will operate from Mysuru Road Bus Station, while buses heading to Tamil Nadu and Kerala, including Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, and Ernakulam, will depart from Shanthinagar TTMC. Special Trains During Festive Season

Apart from road transport, there are special arrangements for train passengers as well. South Western Railway is running festive season special trains, including the Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru–Kollam Express Special, the KSR Bengaluru–Tuticorin Express Special, and the Yeshwantpur–Mangaluru Junction Express.

In addition to road and rail travel, many airlines are adding more options to make travel smoother across the country. For example, Air India and Air India Express are introducing a total of 166 new flights from Bihar. These changes show how authorities across the country are ensuring that people can travel easily without having to cancel their plans due to a lack of transport.
