Masala Dosa Bags 6th Spot On 50 Best Pancakes In The World List

TasteAtlas frequently releases ranking lists that highlight global culinary experiences. Be it the best cuisines or specific food categories like chicken dishes, cheeses, rice puddings, and more. Recently, they released a ranking of the 50 best pancakes in the world, and three types of dosas made it to the list. While dosas are not pancakes, many people in the West consider them in the same category due to a similar preparation style.

The Masala Dosa has bagged the 6th position on the list. It is a popular South Indian dish known for its golden-brown crispy outer layer. Masala dosa is usually stuffed with a spiced potato filling and served with sambar and chutneys like coconut and tomato. Foodies usually enjoy this breakfast dish with a hot cup of filter coffee on the side.
