Drunk Passenger Created Chaos On Akasa Air Flight

Digital creator Vijay (@mai.vijayhoon) posted a video showing a chaotic scene on an Akasa Air flight from Bengaluru to Delhi (QP 1599), where a drunk passenger disturbed the crew and other travellers. The incident happened on October 20, during Diwali. The passenger was reportedly intoxicated and initially started arguing with another traveller, according to News18. When the crew asked him to leave the plane before takeoff, he refused and even resisted instructions from airport security.

The airline confirmed the incident, stating that the crew followed standard procedures to maintain safety on board. Ultimately, the staff had to physically remove the passenger from the aircraft. Such actions are taken only to protect all passengers and ensure the flight can operate safely. No one was injured during the process, and the crew’s swift and composed handling of the situation was widely praised.

Airline Issues Statement Regarding This Incident

In talks with New18, a spokesperson for Akasa Air confirmed that an unruly passenger created chaos on flight QP 1599 from Bengaluru to Delhi on October 20, 2025. They stated that the crew adhered to all safety protocols to ensure the well-being and comfort of passengers.. In the statement, he also emphasised that the airline maintains a strict, zero-tolerance policy toward disruptive behaviour on board.

Moreover, as per The Times of India, an eyewitness of the incident on the flight said that the passenger was heavily intoxicated and refused to leave the aircraft, prompting security to intervene. He was physically removed from the plane and reportedly got into a confrontation with CISF personnel. Authorities have initiated proceedings to potentially place him on the no-fly list.
