Enrique Iglesias Makes Mumbai Sway To His Hit Songs
Enrique Iglesias has returned to India after 13 long years, and our teenage hearts couldn’t be more excited. As part of his global tour, the singer performed on October 29. He will again be performing today, October 30. For those who grew up listening to his songs, or played them secretly at the back benches of their school desks, it was a night filled with nostalgia. An X user and a fan, @S_Uvarna, took to her social media account to share a glimpse from the live show. In the video, the singer is seen dressed in his signature all-black look, singing his songs with sheer enthusiasm while the crowd cheers on!
The singer performed yesterday at the MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai. According to a report by News18, Enrique Iglesias sang many of his chart-topping numbers, including Bailamos, Escape, Hero and Be With You. Every single fan swayed to his melodic beats. Bollywood wasn’t immune to his magic either. Stars like Malaika Arora, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani were seen dancing to his tunes. The concert turned legendary when a fan apparently threw a phone on stage, and Enrique grabbed it, recorded a video, and threw it right back! It’s not every day something like this happens, right? That fan’s definitely the luckiest person now! Instagram user @kdsinghphotography shared a glimpse of the moment on their account.
Rakul Preet Singh shared a photo from the concert on her Instagram story, featuring actress Pragya Jaiswal too. Jackky Bhagnani posted a glimpse of him and Rakul singing along to the songs on his X stories. He wrote, “Living the Enrique era all over again.” Malaika Arora was also spotted in the crowd, singing and dancing to his hits.
Other Stars Who Joined The Celebration
Seems like Jannat actor Sonal Chauhan, too, wasn’t immune to the magic of Enrique Iglesias. His voice surely weaves a charm that leaves everyone spellbound. The actress shared clips of her enjoying the concert on her Instagram stories, along with model and actress Mandana Karimi.
According to Free Press Journal, Vidya Balan, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Rahul Vaidya, and influencer Orry were also present at the concert. The show reportedly began around 8:20 pm as Enrique stepped onto the stage. Over 25,000 fans were waiting for him to start singing his greatest hits, and no one left disappointed.
Each one went home with countless nostalgic memories, already wishing for more. The craze was so high that tickets for both shows on October 29 and 30 sold out quickly. We are now eagerly waiting for photos and videos from today’s concert to drop. Let’s see which stars attend the next one.
