Flyer Flags Poor Service On International IndiGo Flight

An X user, Chetan Anantharamu (@gandabherunda), recently shared his experience of flying on an international IndiGo flight. He said he travelled on a six-hour IndiGo flight from Bengaluru to Bali and described it as one of his worst flying experiences. According to his post, passengers were offered only water during the entire journey, with no other basic services provided.

In his post, he further criticised the airline, calling it the most horrible international flight route from India. He claimed that even basic amenities like window blinds and blankets were not available on board. Tagging aviation regulator DGCA, he questioned why IndiGo was allowed to operate international flights and said such experiences damage both passenger dignity and India’s hospitality image.

Netizens React To The Post

The flyer’s horrible experience on IndiGo has gone viral across the internet, sparking a fresh debate among users. Many people shared similar experiences in the comments.

One user wrote, “100% agree with you. A six-hour flight with only one small water bottle, no food, no blanket, and no proper window shade feels really cheap and uncomfortable. IndiGo should at least provide a basic snack or meal on such long international routes. DGCA needs to set some minimum standards.”

Another user added, “We had a similar experience on an IndiGo flight while returning to Bengaluru last year. The seat belt sign kept turning on and off, and the crew stopped passengers from using the toilet. It was horrible. We complained to the supervisor at the airport near the baggage pickup area.”

Many users also mentioned that airlines such as Ryanair, EasyJet, Cebu Pacific, Vueling, Condor, AirAsia X, Scoot, Tigerair, Jetstar, Kulula, and Kuwait Airways often provide poor travel experiences as well.
