Flipkart Minutes, the quick-commerce service launched by Flipkart just a year ago, aims to solve last-minute shopping needs. The service, now active in 19 cities and over 2,900 pincodes, delivers everything from electronic gadgets to kitchen essentials. As part of its one-year celebration, Flipkart has introduced its first annual report: ‘Minutes That Move India’. The study sheds light on what Indians order the most and at what time.

Among the surprising insights, onions emerged as a quick-commerce favourite with over a million orders this year. Milk, enough to fill six Olympic-sized swimming pools, also ranked among the top essentials. Bananas, too, saw millions of online orders, proving their popularity. India’s midnight cravings also came as a shocker! According to the report, four packets of Maggi were sold every single minute on Flipkart Minutes throughout the year. Not just that, a staggering 12 million scoops of ice cream were also ordered through Flipkart Minutes.
