Passenger Loses Gold Ring Worth Lakhs In Train Toilet
Recently, on an Indian train, a passenger lost his gold ring in the toilet. This incident took place on the Bandra Terminus–Bhuj Special train, numbered 09037. The passenger was travelling in coach B-8. When the passenger went to the toilet, he accidentally dropped the ring into the washroom’s drainage pipe. If something like this happens, we might think it’s impossible to recover it.
However, the things took a surprising turn when the train reached Ahmedabad station. The Western Railway staff immediately stepped in and treated the situation like an important mission. Instead of ignoring the issue, the team decided to make every possible effort to retrieve the ring.

How Railway Staff Recovered The Ring?
The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) took to their social media handle to share how railway staff received the ring. As per post, Senior Section Engineer (C&W) Sanjay Yadav, CTS staff member Virendra Kumar Singh, and the rest of the team worked for several hours to recover the ring. The task was not easy at all. They had to deal with dirty tanks, pipelines, and an unbearable smell while searching for the jewellery.
Facing the difficult conditions, the railway staff continued their efforts and after hours of hard work, they finally managed to recover the gold ring safely. The moment they handed it back to the passenger turned emotional and joyful. This incident proves how Indian Railways is always there to help the passengers.
