A 20-year-old boy (dragonshooter_2004) took to his Reddit account to share a heartwarming incident that makes us believe in kindness again! According to the post, the boy was waiting at a bus stop for an hour, around 5:40 PM, on Kandivali Road. He then decided to take Rapido but paused and randomly asked a middle-aged man on a two-wheeler for a lift. To his surprise, he immediately said yes and asked him to hop on.

As they neared Malad, the young boy spotted his regular bus and excitedly said, “460!” Without asking further, the man asked him to hold tight and took a U-turn to chase the bus. After five minutes, he was successful in overtaking the bus. The sweetest part? The man just didn’t stop there; he waited to check if the bus was stopping, and if not, he would have dropped him off ahead.

Netizens’ Reaction To This Post

This Reddit post in Kandivali quickly gained the attention of netizens. Hundreds of netizens commented on the post and shared their two cents on the situation.

One Reddit user wrote, “These Kakus and Dadus are the reason why Mumbaikars are looked at positively. Hope, the younger generations learn something from them, but I know it’s just wishful thinking.”

One user shared a similar incident, writing, “I do give lifts to strangers on my bike too, a lot of times. Once, I gave a lift to an early 20-something guy from Andheri East to Bandra East. We had some small talks, but barely spoke about anything else throughout the rest of the ride. Once he got down, he asked if I had YouTube. I said yes. He asked for my phone, and I hesitantly gave it to him. He searched for his channel, subscribed to it from my phone, said his thank you, and left. Lol, I was kinda in shock at the audacity of this guy, but respected his hustle.”

This unexpected act of kindness by a middle-aged man has won millions of hearts, and we love this spirit of Mumbai!
