Backed by over 370 million verified traveller reviews from across the globe, the Traveller Review Awards honour partners who consistently provide exceptional hospitality and service wherever they operate. This year, a record-breaking 1.81 million partners are being recognised worldwide, a 5% jump from last year.
This impressive number includes 1,817,848 accommodation providers, 1,977 car rental companies, and 137 airport transfer services. In India alone, 17,575 travel partners have received the 2026 Booking.com Traveller Review Awards, up from 15,674 in 2025, showcasing the growing standard of excellence in the country.
Keeping all this data in mind, Booking.com has named Hidalgo in Mexico as the top destination in their 2026 Traveller Review Awards. This place is special with its rich mining heritage and natural wonders like the Tolantongo hot springs.
