Charbagh Railway Station To Remain Shut For A Few Days
During eight days, Northern Railway’s Lucknow division will put a traffic and power block at Charbagh railway station. Why? To give a smooth space for construction work on a brand-new concourse. As per News18, over these days, workers will remove old shelters and lay the foundation for platform number one. It’s all part of a bigger plan to modernise Charbagh and make travelling here way better.
This shut down till also affects train operations. The Lucknow–Jhansi MEMU (train number 64702) will be completely cancelled for all eight days. In addition, four passenger trains operating between Lucknow, Balamau, and Shahjahanpur will not run their full routes. These trains will either be partially cancelled or will terminate at Alamnagar station.
