Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has now addressed questions around the release of his much-awaited movie King and its clash with Hollywood movies. But the way he answered the question on X is something you really need to see. He called his movie “centre ki tasty tikki”, and fans couldn’t stop admiring him even more.

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action-thriller movie King is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 24, 2026. But rumours were circulating that the makers may decide to postpone the movie as it is being released close to much-awaited Hollywood releases like Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part 3. But it seems like the superstar has now put all the rumours to rest.
During his recent lighthearted ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on X, SRK confirmed that the movie’s release date will not be changed. It is all set to hit the theatres on December 24, 2026, as planned. A fan asked him, “SRK Sir, King has become stuck like a sandwich. Will the release date be changed?”
Shah Rukh Khan replied humorously and wrote, “Not at all, baaki bread pieces ka bhi toh socho, hum to center ki tasty tikki hai.” His reply literally made us chuckle.

During the question-and-answer session on X, another fan asked the superstar, “What’s the most King-like thing you do in real life?” SRK replied, “Have three cups of coffee in bed before anybody can speak with me, even if I am late for work!! Then, of course, on sets get shouted at for being late and have no Kingly feelings left!!
