Travelling by air can be complicated. There are several steps involved. One of the most important is showing proof of check-in, which is the boarding pass. It carries key details and also grants access to the specific gate and on the plane. Now, a flyer has praised the simple design of Air France’s boarding pass, saying it promises less hassle and a smoother journey.
Air France Prints Both Boarding Passes On A Single Slip
To reduce travel anxiety, Air France has come up with a simple idea. The airline is printing both boarding passes on a single slip. This small change can make air travel much easier. An X user, Mukund Jha, shared a picture of the boarding pass from his recent journey. He wrote, “ This is what great design looks like. Simple change: Printing both boarding passes on one slip = Massive upgrade to traveller’s life – less hassle/anxiety, smoother journeys!”
He also added, “I love when simple solutions upgrade your life in a meaningful way! Best designs are simple and obvious in hindsight.” In the image, Air France had printed both boarding passes on one slip: from Bengaluru to Paris and then from Paris to San Francisco. This design removes the need to handle two separate boarding passes. Having both segments on one slip reduces stress during layovers and makes moving through airports easier.

Netizens React To The Simple Design
This design also lowers the chances of misplacing one of the boarding passes, especially for travellers with connecting flights. We are impressed by this simple but innovative idea. And just like us, netizens were impressed too. One user wrote, “Seeing boarding passes merged feels like a breath of fresh, organised air!”
Another suggested an improvement and commented, “A little bit less tightness would be better, but overall, very good design.” A third user added, “Such simple things make a huge impact.” However, not everyone agreed. One user shared a different view and wrote, “It’s your opinion, but I don’t like this single boarding pass idea. If they care about saving paper, they can just send a link.”
