An Indian woman living in Germany has recently shared an emotional appreciation post for the Delhi Metro, which has made Delhiites appreciate it a little more. She talked about how moving abroad made her realise that Delhi might have “20,000 bad things”, but the metro is not one of them. Here’s why she feels this way.
Indian Woman Appreciation Post For Delhi Metro
Just like Mumbai Local is the lifeline of Mumbai, Delhi Metro is the lifeblood of Delhi. It is fast, affordable and connects people to every corner of the city seamlessly. Many students, professionals and others rely heavily on metro services daily. Recently, a Delhi woman, Mahika Sharma, who has now moved to Germany for her Master’s degree, uploaded an emotional appreciation post for the Delhi Metro.
She started off by saying, “Dear Delhi Metro and DMRC, I miss you so much every single day.” According to her, “Delhi Metro is the best in the world.” Mahika shared that Germany is not bad, and despite the crazy weather changes, she is loving her time there by cooking and having gelato every day. But still, there are many things she misses about Delhi, DMRC being one of them.

Mahika shared with her followers that she had always appreciated the city’s metro services, but moving to Germany made her realise how much she had “underappreciated” them. She added that there are “20,000 things wrong and bad about Delhi, but the metro is not one of them.”
She ended her post by saying that she misses DMRC every day and called it “the best transportation system in the whole world.” The netizens were quite amused by her appreciation post and wrote comments like, “It’s amazing how you think of such video ideas,” and “DMRC is a saviour”
No matter which country you decide to move to, a true Delhiite will always miss the city’s metro!
