GDK To Open Its Restaurant In Hyderabad

As per a report by Economic Times Hospitality, the expansion plan is being led by GBC India, which says the launch marks the start of a long-term growth strategy in one of the world’s fastest-evolving food markets.

With more than 170 outlets worldwide, GDK has built its renowned status by reimagining the traditional doner kebab using high-quality lean meats, fresh ingredients, handmade sauces and modern preparation methods. The brand is establishing itself as a premium dining option for Indian consumers looking for flavour-packed meals made with quality ingredients.

According to GBC India, the launch also reflects its broader vision of bringing globally recognised food concepts to the country while upholding international standards in sourcing, quality and operations.

450 Restaurants Planned Across India

GDK’s India entry comes at a time when protein-rich meals and luxurious casual dining are becoming increasingly popular, especially among younger people. The company feels that its focus on lean meats, quality products, and convenient dining aligns well with changing food preferences in India.

Ginny Sahni, Managing Director, GBC India, stated that GBC has always been about quality, innovation and connecting with people through food. CEO Vikrant Tomer added that today’s consumers increasingly seek brands that fit into their broader lifestyle, making this the right time to introduce GDK to India.
