Uber Driver’s Little Act Of Kindness In Bengaluru

Yogitaa Rathore (@yogitaarathore),  a model by profession, was recently in Bengaluru and after her shoot, she had a breakdown and was crying badly. But what happened next brought a smile to her face. She posted the incident on her social media with the caption, “Pookie bhaiya. He literally made my day.” The video begins with her saying, “Aaj Bengaluru mein mere sath itni pyari cheez hui,” and then she narrates the whole incident.

After her breakdown, she took a cab as she had a flight to catch at 2 AM. On her way, she was on a call with her friend. During the conversation, she told her friend how bad her day had been and how hungry she was. Just then, the Uber driver told the model that he would be back in two minutes—what he brought and said to her after that was truly heartwarming.

How Small Gestures Make A Big Impact

The Uber driver came back in a few minutes with a box of sandwiches in his hand. He had heard Yogitaa saying she is hungry and went out to bring her a vegetable sandwich. “Aap itni baar bole ki aap bhooke ho, mujhe acha nahi laga,” he sweetly replied to her when she thanked him for the food. He also told her that if his own sister were in her place, he wouldn’t want her to sit hungry. Hearing this, the model became emotional and felt grateful for this stranger’s kind gesture.

“Mujhe aap humesha yaad rahoge,” she told him with a bright smile and the Uber driver just shyly said, “Okay, okay.”

The video has gone viral on the internet, and many people are praising the driver’s kindness.

One netizen wrote, “This made me cry literally. I don’t know why, but it did.”

Another commented, “In an ironic turn of events, a Bangalore cabbie turns out nice.”
