Internet Surprises To See Dophins On Mumbai Shore

Taking to his social media handle, travel enthusiast Savin Chauhan (@savinchauhan) shared a heart-melting video. The clip shows dolphins appearing close to the sea coast in Worli, Mumbai. He captioned the video, ‘Between concrete & chaos… A Dolphin moment.’

The unexpected sight near Worli sea face left many people surprised, with several stopping along the shore to witness it. Social media users were equally in awe. However, this isn’t the first time dolphins have been spotted in Mumbai. Indian Ocean humpback dolphins often appear near the city’s coast after the monsoon, when the Arabian Sea becomes rich in nutrients and fish. Dolphins move closer to the shore to hunt, and calm seas make them easier to spot. These dolphins are commonly seen around Colaba, Worli, Madh, and nearby coastal areas.
