Originally, the Namo Cruise was slated to be launched on February 20. As per a report by Hindustan Times, officials stated on April 30 that the formal date will most likely stretch to the end of May. Another report by The New Indian Express announced the date to be somewhere around May 15. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will inaugurate Delhi’s most-awaited cruise on the Yamuna River.

What Is The Ticket Price & Timings Of Namo Cruise?
Furthermore, the report by The New Indian Express revealed that passengers can commute on the cruise along a 6 to 7 km stretch between Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur. This will be upstream of the Wazirabad Barrage. The 40-seater Namo Yamuna cruise will have music, entertainment and even offer food to passengers.
It’s part of the Delhi government’s riverfront tourism and recreation plan. Delhiites can be part of the new green tourism experience and travel across the river in an eco-friendly manner. The Namo Yamuna cruise fare will amount to ₹500 per person. Passengers can purchase their tickets at booking counters situated in both Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur stations.
