Noida: Massive Fire Breaks Out In High-Rise Residential Building; Residents Safely Evacuated

A normal Friday morning turned into a moment of panic for residents of Noida’s Ivy County after a massive fire erupted in a flat on the 12th floor of the residential tower. The blaze was reported around 8 AM, with thick black smoke visible from a considerable distance. Thankfully, firefighters responded promptly and brought the fire under control in time.

Fire Erupts In Noida’s Ivy County Society

According to Hindustan Times, a massive fire broke out on Friday morning at around 8 AM in a flat on the 12th floor of Ivy County, a residential society in Noida‘s Sector 75. The blaze engulfed the flat of the high-rise in thick black smoke, prompting the authorities to carry out a full-scale evacuation of the building.

Visuals circulating on social media showed intense flames and dense smoke billowing from the 12th-floor apartment. Upon receiving the alert, firefighters and police personnel rushed to the spot and launched an operation to bring the fire under control.

As a precautionary measure, authorities evacuated the entire tower and shifted residents of nearby flats to safer locations. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported so far. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown and is currently under investigation.

Another Fire Reported At A PG Accommodation In Noida

In another incident, a fire was reported in Noida just 15 minutes after the Ivy County blaze. According to India Today, a fire broke out at a paying guest (PG) accommodation in E-3, Shatabdi Vihar, Sector 52. Officials revealed that the building houses a restaurant on the ground floor, while the upper floors are used as a PG facility.

Following the report, two fire tenders were dispatched to the location to contain the blaze. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. However, authorities are yet to ascertain the cause of the fire in this incident as well.
